About Me

Thanks for visiting!

I am a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where I completed my master's degree in information studies with a focus in archives and records management. As an undergraduate, I attended Penn State and earned my B.A. in anthropology with a minor in art history. In the few years between Penn State and UT, I spent time working, traveling, exploring my interests, and identifying my goals; I worked as a bank teller in my hometown, bussed tables in Pittsburgh, and spent over a year in South Korea teaching English at a private academy.

I love puzzles, language, art, film, and exploring other cultures. Adapting to new challenges and environments excites me, and I enjoy spending time learning new software tools and picking up new skills. I am currently teaching myself Japanese, and will be moving to Tokyo in June to jump-start my progress!
